Entrance and security doors

Steel security doors, RC3-certified doors and REI30 fire doors for flats and houses.

An apartment door in Malta has three things to get right. Security is graded by the European RC classes, and a door with no class stated is a door with no tested resistance; Maltese retailers sell steel security doors at €469 to €749 supply only, and one importer carries an RC3-certified door. Fire: Malta has no rule requiring a fire-rated flat door — the Civil Protection Department said in 2023 there were no fire safety regulations in place — but REI30 doors are sold locally at about €779 and are the right thing in a shared stairwell. And the condominium: the block's entrance door is a common part, and many condominium rules have a say over the look of yours.

We supply and fit, or fit a door you have bought. The subframe, the striker and the fitting are what a retailer's price leaves out.

What this covers

What it costs

Supply prices are published by Maltese retailers — steel security doors €469 to €749, REI30 fire doors €779, a subframe €99. No Maltese source publishes a fitted price, so the door line is quoted on site; hanging a door you supply is on the small-jobs band.

A band, not a quote: the low end is a straightforward job with clear access, the high end is the same job with the complications a site visit finds. Materials are included where the line says so.

How it works

You deal with us, not with the workshop. We measure, we quote a fixed price, we bring in a joiner from the CheckYourTraders-verified network, and we stand behind the work. One point of contact, one contract, one invoice.

Questions people ask

Do I need the condominium's consent?
For the block's own entrance door, yes — it is a common part and changes to the building's appearance need unanimous consent under the Condominium Act. For your own flat door, check the condominium rules; many govern the look of doors onto a common stairwell.
